Davide Bosio
Managing Director, Pareto Capital

Pareto Capital has continued to build its reputation and success since 2008 with a focus on innovative thinking, corporate strategy and strong leadership. To do this, we have a long term view and we never lose sight of these principles.”

'Davide is the Managing Director of Pareto Capital having forged a career over the past 25 years in the financial services, resources and technology sectors.

Over this period, Davide has gaining experience as a director, owner, responsible manager and corporate adviser. This experience has provided valuable insight into building businesses with an emphasis on the fields of strategic advisory, sales and marketing and people/team management.

In terms of career highlights, Davide joined DJ Carmichael in 2014, leading a recapitalisation of the business, becoming a significant shareholder and assuming executive control of the board and operations. This enacted the rebuild of a 125 year old business from what was a tired, loss making enterprise into a profitable business that was successfully sold to Shaw and Partners in 2019. This outcome resulted in a significant outcome for its shareholders and in particular, the staff who transitioned into the new business. The successful execution of this strategy evolved into Davide taking on the role of WA State Manager of the merged business, subsequently increasing the advisory team and turnover significantly over the subsequent five years.

In terms of broad corporate experience, Davide has been involved in a significant number of M&A transactions, often as a board member or strategic corporate adviser. Having held listed public company directorships since 2012, Davide brings a wealth of experience in these roles particularly with a focus on turnarounds, building teams, M&A and the sourcing of strategic capital.

Davide is currently a Fellow Member of FINSIA (FFin) and a Graduate Member of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Davide holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Marketing) degree and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Finance and Investment.
